Federal law prohibits corporate contributions to any candidate for U.S. federal office or to any political candidate, party or campaign in connection with any election for U.S. federal office.
Sysco, historically, has not been active at the state or local levels of government except in limited circumstances where we have weighed in on certain legislative and policy matters. In large part, this stems from our Code of Conduct, which prohibits state and local political contributions without the prior consent of Sysco's General Counsel. In certain cases, we have made limited political contributions in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
